Inspection — How to Spend 15 Seconds

WCA A3: 15s cap, 16-17s +2, ≥17s DNF. Elite flow:

  1. 0-5 s: CN scan, lock best cross color.
  2. 5-11 s: plan full cross (6-8 moves, ergo-optimal).
  3. 11-14 s: locate first F2L pair.
  4. 15 s: confirm grip, start StackMat.

X-cross inspection is the hardest, most rewarding skill. CN cubers see X-cross ~5× more often.
